The woman's perspective

Grave "Ute Bromberger", Ohlsdorf (2020)

Ute Bromberger was a member of Hamburg's first feminist women's group, the “Forum for the Complete Abolition of Oppression” (FRAU for short). In the early 1990s, Heide Soltau broadcast a program on the history of women's radio, in which Ute Bromberger summarized her view of things as follows:

“Women just see the world differently and that's why it stays interesting. Women see the world at a slightly wider angle. Perhaps they are more intense with their view of things than men who look at the world in a very professional way. And so we learn completely different things from the gaze of women and their reflection than we experience them from men. And I think that will remain. "

Ute Bromberger was buried in the Ohlsdorf cemetery in Hamburg (grid square R6, 191-93, above the Althamburg Memorial Cemetery ).
