Uwe Anweiler (born January 9, 1961 ) is a former German soccer player .

Career

Uwe Anweiler began his career in North Baden at VfB Leimen . He came to SG Kirchheim in 1982 through the clubs SV Sandhausen and FV Nussloch . With the Heidelberg district club, which was renamed SG Heidelberg-Kirchheim in 1986, Anweiler rose to the Oberliga Baden-Württemberg in 1984 , where the team was able to establish itself. 1986 Anweiler left the SGK after 60 league appearances and joined the league competitor SV Sandhausen.

After one season he moved to the 2nd Bundesliga for SpVgg Bayreuth . There he made his second division debut on the first day of play and from then on came to regular appearances. In 1988 and 1989 the team would have been relegated to the league, but remained in the league due to license withdrawals from other clubs (Rot-Weiß Oberhausen, Kickers Offenbach). In 1990, however, the descent followed.

Anweiler then returned to SV Sandhausen in the Oberliga Baden-Württemberg, where he was active for one season before moving to his home club VfB Leimen, which also competed in the Oberliga, but was relegated from the league in 1992.

The trained real estate agent trained several lower-class teams in the football district of Heidelberg after his active time. In the 2013/2014 season he worked as a scout for the Eintracht Frankfurt Bundesliga club . Anweiler analyzed future opponents of Eintracht for head coach Armin Veh , whom he knew from his time at SpVgg Bayreuth. After Veh left Frankfurt, his contract was not extended.
