Uwe Jopt

Uwe-Jörg Jopt (born 1944 ) is a German psychologist . He was a psychology professor at Bielefeld University and retired in September 2009. Jopt also works as a litigation assessor and family therapist.

Jopt is a representative of systemic family psychology . Among other things, he researches domestic violence, the situation of separated children and parent-child alienation . Jopt calls for the abolition of sole custody .
