Uwe Kellner (politician)

Uwe Kellner (* 1955/1956) is a German politician and former mayor of the Lower Saxony town of Achim in the Verden district .

Life

Professionally, he began as an apprentice in the administration of the city of Achim and was employed there without interruption until his election as mayor in 2006, where he succeeded Christoph Rippich . He filled this office for a term until 2014 after he had announced in August 2013 that he would not run again for election. He was succeeded by Rainer Ditzfeld. At the moment he is still active as a hall spokesman for TV Oyten .
