Uwe Vormbusch

Uwe Vormbusch (* 1963 ) is a German sociologist .

Life

From 1995 to 2004 he was a research assistant at the Institute for Social Research in Frankfurt am Main and at the Johann Wolfgang Goethe University in Frankfurt, Faculty of Social Sciences. After completing his doctorate in 2001 at the Goethe University magna cum laude, from 2004 to 2008 he was a research assistant at the Institute for Social Research in Frankfurt, DFG project "Human Resource Management and the Subjectification of Work". After his habilitation in 2008 and Venia Legendi at the Friedrich Schiller University Jena , he was a visiting scholar at the London School of Economics and Political Science, Department of Accounting in 2009 . In the summer semest of 2009 he was a professor at the University of Mainz , Institute for Sociology, Department “Organization of Work and Operations”. From 2009 to 2010 he was a research assistant at the DFG project "Economic Computing" in Mainz , Institute for Sociology. From 2010 to 2011 he taught as a substitute professor at the University of Trier , Department IV, subject sociology, professorship for work, human resources, organization. Since 2012 he has been a professor at the FernUniversität in Hagen, Faculty of Cultural and Social Sciences, Professor of Sociological Diagnosis of the Present. In 2016, he conducted research as a visiting scholar at the École normal supérieure Paris-Saclay , research group Institutions et Dynamiques Historiques de l'Économie et de la Société .
