Frank Hillebrandt

Frank Hillebrandt (born April 26, 1966 in Ibbenbüren ) is a German sociologist .

Life

From 1987 to 1994 he studied educational sciences with the aim of a diploma at the University of Münster and from 1992 to 1998 sociology (main subject), pedagogy, philosophy and politics as part of a doctoral degree in Münster . On February 16, 1994, he received his diploma in education with a focus on social education. From 1994 to 1998 he was a doctoral student at the Institute for Sociology at the University of Münster. From 1995 to 1998 he received a doctoral scholarship from the Friedrich Ebert Foundation . After receiving his doctorate on October 20, 1998 as Dr. phil. in sociology at the WWU Münster, the habilitation was completed on February 5, 2009 at the University of Hamburg . After his appointment as a private lecturer on April 21, 2009 by the Faculty of Economics and Social Sciences at the University of Hamburg, he was granted the license to teach “Sociology” since 2012 as Professor of General Sociology and Sociological Theory at the FernUniversität in Hagen .
