Válur

Válur [ ˈvɔalʊɹ ] is a place in the Faroe Islands that has actually merged with Vestmanna on Streymoy .

Although Válur belongs to the Vestmannas settlement area, it is the administrative part of the municipality of Kvívík, which is about 10 kilometers to the east. On November 1, 2005 it got its own postcode 358, previously it was Vestmanna's 350.
