The Vågøykalvane ( Norwegian for bay island calves ) are a group of islands off the Ingrid Christensen coast of the East Antarctic Princess Elisabeth Land . They are located east of Vågøy in the south-eastern part of Prydz Bay .
Norwegian cartographers, who also named them, mapped them in detail using aerial photographs taken during the Lars Christensen Expedition in 1936/37 .
