Velodrome Brest Ponant Iroise

The Vélodrome Brest Ponant Iroise is a cycle track in Plouzané, France .

The cycling track was built in 1987 and inaugurated in July 1988; it is one of seven cycle tracks in the Finistère . Its construction was financed by the Syndicat Intercommunal du Vélodrome , which is made up of 15 municipalities. The track is made of concrete and 333.33 meters long, has a width of seven meters and a curve superelevation of 38 degrees. It is located on Rue Jacques Anquetil .

In June 1995 the French national team prepared for the World Championships in Bogotá on this track , and the following year the Olympic team were guests. In June 2000 the second round of the Trophée Fenioux was held here with a top-class cast. In 2011, the French standing championship took place at the Velodrome .
