Víctor Escalera (born November 24, 1967 in Ciudad Valles , San Luis Potosí ) is a retired Mexican football player on the position of a striker .

career

For the first seven years of his professional football career , Escalera was under contract with the UANL Tigres . In the next four years Escalera spent one season each with the clubs Tampico-Madero FC , CD Zacatepec and Marte Morelos, which play in the Mexican second division , and in the meantime (1994/95) experienced the personal highlight of his football career when he was once again under contract with a first division club. Although Escalera only made two appearances for Club Necaxa that season , it was part of the squad of the team that won the Mexican football championship.

His only international appearance for the Mexican national team completed Escalera in a friendly game played on April 17, 1991 against Costa Rica , which ended goalless.
