Víctor Manuel Solano Montaño

Víctor Manuel Solano Montaño (* 1946 ) is a Mexican ambassador .

Life

His son is the ambassador Jorge Mario Montaño Martínez. Víctor Manuel Solano Montaño studied eight semesters of international relations at the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México . He joined in August 1970 in the Foreign Service, where he served as "B" in Chancellor Consulate of Laredo was accredited.

In 1982, Víctor Manuel Solano Montaño was Director General of the Servicio Exterior (Foreign Service).

Carlos Salinas de Gortari appointed Víctor Manuel Solano Montaño on August 15, 1990 as ambassador to the government of Robert Mugabein in Zimbabwe . He was accredited to the government of Robert Mugabe on December 10, 1990 . On January 31, 1994, the Mexican embassy in Harare was closed.

Víctor Manuel Solano Montaño was accredited to the Government of Belize on April 26, 1994 .

In 2000, the outgoing Foreign Minister Rosario Green visited Lebanon. Víctor Manuel Solano Montaño resided in Beirut at Secteur 2, Rue 53, Imm. Mansour 90 Building, Neuvelle Naccache.

In 2003 he was awarded the Order of Cedar by the Lebanese government .
