Věra Flasarová (born December 19, 1952 in Ostrava ) is a Czech politician of the KSČM .

Flasarová attended the mining college in Ostrava and the party college in Moscow . She worked as an economist and secretary. At KSČ she worked for the city administration in Ostrava, at the successor party KSČM she was the secretary of the city administration and a trainer for the central committee. From 2000 to 2004 she was a member of the Regional Council of the Moravian-Silesian Region . In the 2004 European elections she was elected to the European Parliament , from which she was voted out in 2009. On January 13, 2014, however, she replaced the resigned Vladimír Remek and will be a member of parliament for at least a few months.
