VOF de Kunst (also The Art Company ) is a Dutch pop group from Tilburg .
Band history
The band was founded in 1983 around the singer Nol Havens. In the 1980s, the group achieved individual hits in the Netherlands, including their first single Suzanne (1983) and Een kopje koffie (1987), before devoting themselves to children's songs. The band gave themselves the English name The Art Company for their European tour and achieved a hit outside the Netherlands under this name in 1983 and 1984 with the English version of their first single Susanna (I'm crazy loving you) .
VOF de Kunst later produced albums with Sinterklaas songs, which are very popular in the Netherlands and Flanders . VOF de Kunst appears regularly in children's theaters.
