history

Through mergers with several formerly independent Raiffeisen banks in the district of Günzburg in the 1960s and 1970s and in 1992 with the former Raiffeisenbank Günzburg and a successful development, the business area of ​​Raiffeisenbank Burgau grew steadily. The name of the cooperative was also changed again and again. "Savings and loan funds", "Raiffeisenkasse" and finally "Raiffeisenbank" were the individual stations in the company's history.

In 2013, Raiffeisenbank Burgau and Raiffeisen-Volksbank Dillingen merged to form the new Raiffeisen-Volksbank Dillingen-Burgau eG . As part of the voting by the member representatives, it was also decided to relocate the company's headquarters to Dillingen.

In 2014 the bank merged with Volksbank Günzburg. The new company is called VR-Bank Donau-Mindel eG with its legal seat in Dillingen.
