UAB Vakarų medienos grupė ( VMG ) is a Lithuanian group of companies operating in the wood and furniture industry. The group consists of AB “ Klaipėdos mediena ” (founded in 1899), UAB “Girių bizonas”, UAB “Sakuona”, Sakuona, BEI, VMG Technics, Wood Industry, LogDrev and VMG Industry. In 2012 it achieved a turnover of 100 million euros (profit of 21.261 million Lt), (2008: 120 million euros) and 515.3 million litas in 2013. For 2014, sales of 718 million Lt were planned and 2015 with 1 billion litas . In 2017 a profit of 17.484 million euros was achieved.
The founders of the holding company and main shareholders are Sigitas Paulauskas and the Lithuanian furniture company UAB SBA .
The holding company “VMG Holdings”, registered in Cyprus , holds 100% shares in VMG.
