Valérie Groß

Valérie Groß (also Valerie Gross) is a German music manager and producer of classical music . She produced recordings a. a. with Cecilia Bartoli , Plácido Domingo , Jonas Kaufmann , Lang Lang and Anna Netrebko . In 2006 she was the first German producer to receive a Grammy in the Best Opera Recording category .

Career

Valérie Groß began her career in 2001 as a product manager and producer at Deutsche Grammophon . From 2007 she worked as Vice President of Artists and Repertoire (A&R) at Decca Records in London and from 2009 at Sony Classical International in Germany. In 2017 she moved back to Deutsche Grammophon. According to Klassik.com , in the position of director for vocal and opera productions, she is responsible for supporting artistic careers and developing young talents, among other things.
