Val Fuentes
Val Fuentes (born November 25, 1947 in Chicago , Illinois ) is an American drummer and was a member of the West Coast rock band It's a Beautiful Day .
First he played in a few blues clubs in Chicago . After moving to the west coast, he became one of the founding members of It's a Beautiful Day in 1967. Fuentes is the only musician who can actually be heard on all of the It's a Beautiful Day recordings. Fuentes also played with local rock bands such as Shadowfax , Fat Chance, the New Riders of the Purple Sage , Chris Rowan of the Rowan Brothers and the Linda Imperial Band.
