Val Mulkerns

Val Mulkerns (born February 14, 1925 in Dublin - † March 10, 2018 ) was an Irish writer .

Life

She attended Dominican College in Dublin and later worked in the civil service. Since 1948 she has mainly worked as a freelance writer. She was an editor for The Bell magazine in the early 1950s . She also worked as a reviewer, broadcaster and theater critic. She wrote short stories and novels. She was a member of Aosdána .
