Valdemir Pereira (* 15. November 1974 in Cruz das Almas , Brazil ) is a former Brazilian boxer in the featherweight . He was trained by Ivan Patricio Chalot de Oliveira and managed by Servilio de Oliveira .

With a technical knockout victory in round 4, he successfully made his professional debut against Ronaldo Conceicao Lima on March 3, 2001. In January 2006 he met the Thai southpaw Fahprakorb Rakkiatgym for the vacant IBF World Championship. Pereira won this fight clearly and unanimously on points, all three judges rated the fight 118: 108.

Already in his first title defense on May 13 of the same year, Pereira lost the title to Eric Aiken by disqualification in round 8. After this defeat, which was the only one in his entire professional career, he ended his career.
