Valerio Virga (born June 29, 1986 in Rome ) is an Italian football player .

Virga is a midfielder and comes from AS Roma youth work . In the jersey of the three-time Italian champions, he celebrated his Serie A debut on April 10, 2005 against Udinese (3: 3) , with five more games to follow. In the 2005/06 season Virga was loaned to Ascoli , but was never used there. 2006/07 Virga was back in the Roma squad and played four championship games. In the following season 2007/08 Virga moved on loan to Serie B at Grosseto , where he made 23 appearances.

In the 2008/09 season Virga was back in the AS Roma squad, but since 2005 50 percent of his transfer rights have belonged to Palermo .

Virga previously played a U-21 international for Italy in 2006.
