Valorsch is an area in Liechtenstein on the Schönberg with the three Alps Vorder- and Mittlervalorsch, which belong to the municipality of Schaan , and the Vaduzer Alp Hintervalorsch. The name comes from the Rhaeto-Romanic val uors (Bärental).

The transfer of the Valorschalpen to cooperative ownership has not been documented. The Alps were divided between the individual villages of the parish for use. Because of a dispute between Schaan and Vaduz, the borders of Hintervalorsch were set in 1643.

In the first half of the 17th century, the operation of a later abandoned iron ore mine in Valorsch is documented. At the confluence of the Valorsch and Stägerbach rivers to the Samina , an iron smelter was planned later , but Prince Johann I decided not to build it in 1820 because of the long transport routes. The wood from the forests in Valorsch was used for alpine farming, for the Valorsch mine and charcoal burning, or it was loosened and sold through the Samina valley to Frastanz . In 1877 a road was built from the footbridge to Hintervalorsch.
