Valters Lagzdins (born March 3, 1989 in Riga , Latvia ) is a German volleyball player .
Valters Lagzdins played as a teenager at TV Bühl since 1995 , where he was able to celebrate numerous successes in every age group. In 2005 he moved to VfB Friedrichshafen with Simon Quenzer and Jonas Hemlein (also youth players on TV Bühl) . There he played, until his return to Bühl in 2007 , with the Youngstars Friedrichshafen in the 2nd Bundesliga. In 2009 Valters Lagzdins was promoted to the 1st Bundesliga with TV Bühl . In 2014, the diagonal attacker moved to the second division club SV Fellbach . Here he became champions of the 2nd Bundesliga South in 2015 and 2016. In addition, Valters Lagzdins was voted Most Valuable Player (MVP) of the 2nd Bundesliga South in 2015. He was honored with the bronze honorary sheet by the city of Fellbach.
