Valts Miltovics (born August 12, 1979 in Riga ) is a Latvian sports official and manager.

Valts Miltovics was an amateur ice hockey player himself . He studied at Vidzeme University from 1998 to 2007 and then completed his master's degree in sports marketing and communication at the Università Ca 'Foscari in Venice.

From 2000 to 2007 Miltovics worked for Radio SWH AS in Vidzeme and from 2006 to 2010 in the sports event agency Labo Darbu Komanda SIA . From 2010 to 2016 he worked for the world basketball association FIBA , more precisely for FIBA Europe Properties GmbH in Munich, and was responsible for event management in Europe. Among other things, he organized the group D games at the 2015 European Basketball Championship in Latvia.

In February 2016, Miltovics was introduced as the new head of the Berlin six-day race , which has been owned by the British Madison Sports Group since 2015 . He took up his new office on April 1, 2016. In addition to managing the Berlin event, it was his job to install a European series of six-day races with an overall ranking, the Six Day Series .
