Vanda Hădărean

Vanda Maria Hădărean (born May 3, 1976 in Cluj-Napoca ) is a former Romanian artistic gymnast who took part in international competitions between 1990 and 1993. She is an Olympic silver medalist with the team.

Vanda is also a successful fitness model who has won various international competitions. She is three times Miss Fitness World (2008, 2009 and 2010) and four times Miss Fitness Canada (2006-2009).

Gymnastics career

She started gymnastics when she was eight. At 13, she was appointed to the junior national team and went to train in Oneşti. During her junior career, she won all the titles at the European Junior Championships, the gold medal on the uneven bars and was sixth on the bar.

Senior career

As a senior, she was a permanent member of the team and won with the team the bronze medal at the 1991 World Cup and the silver medal at the 1992 Olympic Games . At the European Championships in the same year she won bronze in the individual all-around.

Fitness career

In 2005 she made a successful debut by winning the Miss Fitness Canada title and finishing fourth in the Miss World Fitness competition. She continued her career and won three other Miss Fitness Canada titles (2006, 2007, 2008), a second place in Miss World Fitness and three Miss World Fitness titles (2008, 2009, 2010). It offers training for gymnasts and fitness models under the brand name "Inspired by Vanda".
