The Vanderford Valley is a deep sea trench in the Mawson Sea off the Budd coast of the East Antarctic Wilkesland . It is located just north of the mouth of the Vanderford Glacier .

The Advisory Committee for Undersea Features (ACUF) named it in 1970 based on the name of the glacier of the same name. Its namesake is Benjamin Vanderford (1788–1842), helmsman of the USS Vincennes , one of the ships of the United States Exploring Expedition (1838–1842) under the direction of the US polar explorer Charles Wilkes .
