Vanessa Demouy (born April 5, 1973 in Montreuil , France ) is a French actress and musician who also occasionally works as a model .

Life

Inspired by her mother Catherine, a former model and managing director of a modeling agency, she took her first fashion photos at the age of 8. After Demouy had to give up the dream of studying classical dance at the age of 15, she turned to modeling again. At the age of 17 she played the role of a young bride in the short film Les illusions du mariage (1990). This was followed by various advertising appearances, engagements at fashion shows and larger fashion houses. From 1993 she played the role of Linda in over 120 episodes of the sitcom Classe mannequins .

Demouy first appeared as a singer in 1995 with her album Rêve de fille .

In Germany, Demouy is best known as the female lead actress in the television series Models in Paradise (1995) and for her advertising appearances as Lara Croft . More recently, Demouy has appeared in several theater productions and TV series.
