The Varden Amfi is a football stadium in the Fyllingsdalen district of the Norwegian city of Bergen . Until 2011 it was the venue of the football clubs Løv-Ham Fotball and Fyllingen Fotball . The new club FK Fyllingsdalen , which today uses the venue, was created through the merger of the clubs .

history

The Varden Amfi opened in 1992 and expanded in 2008. This was made necessary by the rise of Løv-Ham Fotball, as the previous stadium, Krohnsminde , did not meet the requirements of the Norwegian Football Association for a second division stadium . The move from Krohnsminde to Varden Amfi took place .

The renovation, which cost around NOK 20 to 25 million , was financially almost entirely borne by a local businessman.
