Varenbroke

Varenbroke (other spellings: Fahrenbruch, Fahrenbroyk, Vahrenbroyk, Varenbrok) is a desert in the district of Göttingen . It has not yet been able to be precisely localized, but it is suspected about 2 km southwest of Hattorf , between the Oder and the steep slope of the Rotenberg .

history

Varenbroke was first mentioned in a document in 1260. The time when it became desert cannot be determined with certainty, but it is believed to be before 1561.
