Vasilică Cristocea (born September 27, 1980 in Hârșova ) is a Romanian football player . He has been under contract with Farul Constanța since summer 2015 .

Career

Cristocea joined Farul Constanța's first team in 1999 , who played in Divizia A at the time . Already in his first season he was used regularly. At the end of the 1999/2000 season he had in the Divizia B dismount. There, the club stayed true and made an immediate resurgence . In Divizia A he was able to end the following seasons with Farul in the secured midfield. In early 2006 he signed record champions Steaua Bucharest , with whom he won the 2006 championship in his first year . After 24 missions in the 2006/07 season , he was used less often in the following season and was loaned to Ceahlăul Piatra Neamț in early 2008 . After his return in the summer of 2008, he did not play another game for Steaua. In February 2009, his contract was terminated.

In the summer of 2009 Cristocea returned to Farul, who was now back in Liga II. In summer 2010 he joined the ambitious local rivals FC Viitorul Constanța , with whom he returned to League 1 after the 2011/12 season. In the summer of 2013, Cristocea was hired by Universitatea Cluj . There he had to go to League II at the end of the 2014/15 season . He then rejoined Farul.
