The Vatan Mosque ( Turkish Vatan Camii ; German Heimat mosque ) is a mosque in the Brackwede district of Bielefeld, completed in 2004 and maintained by the umbrella organization DİTİB .
Construction of the Islamic house of God began in 1999, ten years after the congregation was founded. The building was completed in 2004 after a five-year construction period. The construction of a minaret , financed with donations, was completed in 2012.
The congregation has 400 members, including 50 women.
