The Veiðileysufjörður (Eng. Fjord without fishing ) is a fjord in the Westfjords in northwest Iceland .
The fjord is the longest of the Jökulfirðir , a group of five fjords on the north bank of the Ísafjarðardjúp . It extends 9 km into the country and is 3 km wide. There are no roads in the whole area. The few courtyards on its banks are abandoned today.
