Velika Ivanča ( Serbian - Cyrillic Велика Иванча ) is a municipality in Serbia . It is located in the Belgrade suburb of Mladenovac .

The highest mountain in the vicinity of Belgrade, Kosmaj , borders Velika Ivanča in the north.

population

In 1991 the municipality had 1991 inhabitants, the 2002 census found a population of 1796 and in 2011 the population was 1532.

history

On April 9, 2013, a 60-year-old resident shot dead 13 relatives and neighbors. Then he wanted to commit suicide, but failed. This is the massacre with the most deaths since the end of the Yugoslav wars .
