The Velpker Switzerland is a conservation area in the municipality Velpke ( district Helmstedt ) in Lower Saxony with numerous fully overflowed with water quarries.

Here are traces of the earth's history. On a plateau of Rhaetian sandstones, deep grooves can be seen, which are most likely glacial scrapes.
