Vendela Elin Birgitta Santén (born June 11, 1978 in Gothenburg as Vendela Zachrisson ) is a former Swedish sailor .
successes
Vendela Santén took part in the 470 dinghy with Therese Torgersson at the 2004 Olympic Games in Athens and 2008 in Beijing . With 63 points, they won the bronze medal in 2004 behind the Greek and Spanish boats, just one point behind the Spanish women. Four years later, they did not get past 15th place. At World Championships Santén and Torgersson succeeded in winning the title in 2004 in Zadar , two years later they won the bronze medal in Rizhao in 2006 .
