Therese Elisabeth Torgersson (born March 28, 1976 in Gothenburg ) is a former Swedish sailor .
successes
Therese Torgersson took part in the Olympic Games three times . Until her Olympic debut in Sydney in 2000 , she sailed in the boat class Europe , whose Olympic regatta she finished in 22nd place. She then switched to the 470 dinghy and took part in it with Vendela Santén at the 2004 Olympic Games in Athens and 2008 in Beijing . With 63 points, they won the bronze medal in 2004 behind the Greek and Spanish boats, just one point behind the Spanish women. Four years later, they did not get past 15th place. At the world championships Torgersson and Santén succeeded in winning the title in 2004 in Zadar , two years later they won the bronze medal in Rizhao in 2006 .
