Vennaskond is an Estonian punk band .

Vennaskond ( German brotherhood ) was founded in 1984. She describes herself as a band committed to the New Romantic and Charles Fourier . Because of their anarchist ideas, the group was subject to reprisals in the Soviet Union . The leading members had to move to Finland in 1991 and did not return to their homeland until Estonian independence was regained.

Vennaskond is one of the most famous Estonian bands today. It also celebrated great success abroad. Tours have taken the band to Germany , Finland , Sweden and the USA, among others .

Members

The composition of the group has varied since it was founded in 1984. The only permanent member since then is the band leader and singer Tõnu Trubetsky , also known as Tony Blackplait. Other long-standing and important members of Vennaskond were guitarist Allan Vainola (1990 to 1996 and 1998 to 2006), Anti Pathique (1989 to 1996 and 2002 to 2005), bassist Mait Vaik (1989 to 1996), and violinist Camille Camille (1993 to 1998 ) and accordionist Ülari Ollik (1990 and 1993 to 1996).
