Venomous Vipers FC

The Cape Coast Venomous Vipers Football Club , or Venomous Vipers for short ( German  "poisonous vipers " ), is a Ghanaian football club from Cape Coast and local rivals of the Mysterious Dwarfs, founded in 1936 . Home of the club is the Robert Mensah Sports Stadium . The club's motto is deeds ... not words ( German  "Taten instead of words" ).

history

The club took part in the canceled football championship in 1956 and two years later was one of the eight founding members of the Ghana Football League . The Venomous Vipers participated continuously in the championship until their relegation in 1972, followed by several promotions and subsequent relegations in the 1980s. In 1990, the club rose from the first class for the last time. Currently (2020) the Venomous Vipers compete in the second-rate Division One League (Zone Two).
