Venus Madrid

Venus Madrid (* 1964 in Switzerland ) is a Spanish actor and stage director.

Life

Madrid grew up in Zurich . He completed three years at the Acting Academy of the City of Zurich (SAZ), for which he also received an actor scholarship. Another three years followed, each for a dramaturgy study with André Kaminski and at the creative vocational school of the city of Zurich (GBMS). Since 1987 he has worked as a freelance actor and since 1988 as a speaker at the SBS audio library in Zurich. From 1991 to 1994 he completed a vocal training at the M. Baldauf singing school in Zurich. This was followed by further training in camera acting with Dorothea Neukirchen, acting for film with Cherolyn C. Franklin and directing in theater and opera with A. Dresen. At 3sat he worked as a narrator for commentary and news texts.
