The Venus von Eggendorf is a clay figure excavated in 1930 by local historian Josef Höbarth in Eggendorf am Walde in Lower Austria .

The clay-fired female figure with emphatically feminine features comes from the Lengyel culture , which dates from 4900 to 4300 BC. Is classified. The figure is 24 centimeters high and probably represents a fertility symbol. It is in the Höbarthmuseum in Horn .

On May 7, 1999, a 157 centimeter replica of Venus was unveiled in front of the Höbarthmuseum.
