Vera C. Koin , née Veronika Zellner , (born February 17, 1946 in Fürth ; real name: Vroni Priesner ) is a German author. She writes novels for children, short stories, opera libretti and poetry.

biography

Vera C. Koin first studied teaching for primary schools. From 1968 to 1972 she worked as a teacher. In 1972 she received a scholarship to study elementary music and dance education at the Mozarteum in Salzburg. In 1979 she was commissioned to set up a new course at the Meistersinger Conservatory in Nuremberg: elementary music education (initially elementary music education). From 1976 to 1985 Vroni Priesner was a member of the Bamberg Ensemble for Early Music. With this formation she produced records, gave concerts at home and abroad and appeared on the radio. In 1986 she founded the “Petit Ensemble” specializing in high baroque and early classical music. She led the ensemble and gave concerts as a recorder and traverse flutist.

In 2007 she was appointed professor for elementary music education at the Nuremberg University of Music. Overlapping with her retirement in 2010, Vroni Priesner wrote her first children's book for Buchecker Verlag (Treuchtlingen). Under the pseudonym Vera C. Koin she published children's books, numerous short stories in anthologies and articles in poetry collections in a short time.

Priesner lives and works in Nuremberg after stays in Upper Bavaria and Paris.
