Vera Henriksen

Vera Henriksen (born March 22, 1927 in Oslo ; † May 23, 2016 ) was a Norwegian writer .

Henriksen lived in the USA between 1946 and 1963, where he studied architecture and art history. Many of her books are set in the Middle Ages or other historical epochs. Several books deal with the problematic transition to Christianity. In 1961 the first volume ( Sølvhammeren - The Silver Hammer) of the successful Sigrid trilogy appeared. The following volumes, Jærtegn and Helgekongen , appeared in 1962 and 1963.
