Vera Klee

Vera Klee (born May 7, 1964 in Aachen ) is a German writer . She grew up in Aachen, lived in Würselen for five years, then from 1992 in Landgraaf in the Netherlands, and since March 2012 again in Würselen (Germany). She writes and publishes short stories for adults and children, poetry (haiku), horror stories, psychological thrillers and murderous short stories as e-books. She is also the author of a non-fiction book for educational practice.

Life

Vera Klee lives in the border triangle of Germany, Belgium and the Netherlands near Aachen. Her key experience: in 1998 (at the age of 34) she suffered a circulatory disorder in the brain (mini-stroke) and was diagnosed with a congenital heart defect (open, i.e. persistent foramen ovale - atrial septal defect - with an atrial septal aneurysm ). She was successfully operated on at the Aachen University Hospital using a catheter lock (heart umbrella). After she recovered from it, she started publishing her stories.
