Vera Münchow

Vera Münchow ( pseudonym : Vera Anders , born December 27, 1943 in Königsberg / East Prussia ) is a German writer .

Life

Vera Münchow initially lived in Aukrug-Innien with her husband, the writer Heinz Münchow (1929–2005) . She published a number of girls' books in the 1970s . In 1972 she received a foreign scholarship from the Foreign Office and a sponsorship award from the state of Baden-Württemberg . From May 18, 1974 until the fire on May 18, 1984, the family lived in the tower-keeper's apartment in the Blue Tower of the Kaiserpfalz in Bad Wimpfen for exactly ten years . At that time, the jointly written regional publications, Encounters in Schwibbogengasse and Das lower Neckar Valley, came into being .

The writer couple had three children. The eldest son Torsten Münchow (* 1965) became an actor.
