Vera Slehoferova

Vera Slehoferova (* 1949 in Prague ) is a Swiss classical archaeologist of Czechoslovak origin.

After graduating from high school in Prague, she emigrated to Switzerland in 1968, where she studied classical archeology and art history at the University of Basel from 1969 to 1975 and obtained a lic. phil. completed. From 1974 to 2012 she was a curator at the Antikenmuseum Basel . Here she was particularly concerned with the Greek vases in the collection, which she presented in three volumes of the Corpus Vasorum Antiquorum so far .
