The Association of Baden-Württemberg Omnibus Entrepreneurs e. V. (WBO) is a professional and employer association based in Böblingen . As the regional association of the Federal Association of German Bus Entrepreneurs (bdo), it represents the interests of around 350 private bus companies in Baden-Württemberg .

The WBO also includes public transport companies, network organizations, bus manufacturers, suppliers and service providers as well as tourism companies and organizations as "extraordinary members".

The association was founded in May 1947 as the Association of Württemberg-Badischer Omnibusunternehmer e. V. (WBO) was founded in what was then the state of Württemberg-Baden . In 1976 there was a merger with the southern Baden sister association SBO, but the abbreviation WBO remained.

The WBO represents the commercial interests of private, family and owner-run bus companies. It pursues neither party political nor religious purposes. The aim of the association's activities is to improve the image of the bus as a mode of transport and equal opportunities for medium-sized bus companies in national and international competition. Against this background, the association maintains contact with politics, administration and business, informs its members about new regulations and organizes regular congresses and trade fairs.

The chairman is Klaus Sedelmeier (Rast-Reisen, Hartheim), managing director Witgar Weber (as of February 2018).

The IGP - Interest Group of the Passenger Transport Industry in Baden-Württemberg eG (sales of goods, student accounting , insurance) and Combus - Competence Mensch und Bus GmbH (driver training and seminars) are located in the vicinity of the WBO .
