Association of German Technicians
The Verband Deutscher Techniker eV (VDT) was a trade union professional association based in Hamburg . The VDT belonged to the umbrella organization of Christian trade union federation (CGB).
The association also represented employees on boards of directors such as Techniker Krankenkasse . The chairman was Hubert Ringhoff. The VDT was a member of the controversial collective bargaining community of Christian trade unions .
Since 2013 the VDT has not been included in the list of individual unions of the CGB.
