Verena Steiner

Verena Steiner (* 1948 in Aargau ) is a Swiss non-fiction author about learning .

Verena Steiner studied biochemistry and did her doctorate at the University of Basel . She worked in the pharmaceutical industry in research activities and in project management and as a lecturer. From 1998 she developed the “Learning with pleasure!” Program at ETH Zurich. After a visiting professorship at BOKU in Vienna , she is now a freelance writer.

In 1998 she received the Lady Waterman Prize and was a finalist of the Veuve Cliquot Prize ; In 2006 she was appointed honorary councilor of the ETH Zurich for her work .

Steiner has been dealing with learning and work strategies for many years.
