Traffic show

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The traffic show in Germany is an administrative process in which the street equipment of a street is checked regularly. The aim of the test is to examine the necessity and comprehensibility and, if necessary, to establish it. This check is done in order to optimize traffic safety . Special attention should be paid to accident blackspots and level crossings at the traffic show. The traffic show is not only limited to the municipal level, but can also be carried out nationwide ( state traffic show ). Besides the responsible road traffic authority , the road construction authority and the police are involved; Public transport companies and knowledgeable private individuals can also be consulted.

The administrative regulation on road traffic regulations stipulates in Section 45, Paragraph 57 that an inspection must take place at least every two years, and at least once a year for roads with significant traffic and at accident black spots. In fact, the traffic shows are often held less often.
