Vermibus (* 1987 in Palma de Mallorca ) is a street artist from Spain who is active in the field of adbusting .

Life

In 2003 Vermibus moved to Madrid and was originally active as a photographer in the fashion scene. He has lived in Berlin since 2010.

He became better known with a form of adbusting. He steals advertising posters from public spaces and manipulates the people portrayed with solvents that dissolve the colors on the offset prints . He brings these edited posters back into the street scene elsewhere. One of his goals is to recapture the public space that has been stolen by large companies and to question the ideals of beauty that currently prevail in advertising and the media.

He works across Europe and there are extensive video and photo documentations about his work.
