Vers-chez-Perrin is a hamlet in the municipality of Payerne in the canton of Vaud .

It is located 2.5 km south of Payerne at 522  m above sea level. M. , next to the cantonal road 608 Payerne - Prez-vers-Noréaz - Friborg . The place consists of 5–6 farms, a dozen houses, an inn and a school. In the center of the village there is a Protestant chapel, which was built between 1925 and 1926 and is called the Chapelle des Hameaux de Payerne . In the tower there is an old bell, cast around 1450.

Vers-chez-Perrin, together with the hamlets of Etrabloz, Corge and Vers-chez-Savary, form the Hameaux de Payerne ( hamlet of Payerne ), whose inhabitants have had rights to use the forests of the former Payerne abbey since 1519 . These rights have been administered since 1862 by the Régie des Hameaux de Payerne , which has the status of a parish faction.

Vers-chez-Perrin shares the postal code 1551 with the neighboring hamlet of Etrabloz.

The name of Vers-chez-Perrin is formed from the Welsch Switzerland common prefix "vers-chez" as "in", "to", or can be translated "near the home of" and the surname "Perrin" that still exists in the area and in the hamlet today.
